Finally Farm Paints has APHA reining, roping, ranch horse, and reined cow horse prospects for sale. All horses bred by Finally Farm Paints have champions or NRHA, NRCHA, or NCHA money earners in the first generation of their pedigrees. In addition, they all have complete disease panel and color panel results available.
The way we raise our babies is what sets us apart from other programs. We work with our foals from the time they are born to the time they leave for their new homes. You can expect a horse that is, of course, trained to lead, tie, stand for the farrier, get brushed, blanket, load, give to pressure, and back nicely. They are introduced to dogs, cats, poultry, tractors, tarps, flags, and even garbage trucks. In their yearling year, they are trained to go through our outdoor trail course in-hand, and walk over tarps, through streamers and plastic bottles, over bridges and logs. They are also lightly lunged, and taught to walk, trot, and canter in both directions at voice command. They are also introduced to a saddle before turning two. Through all of this, they are taught respect; they cannot be pushy, nippy, or rude. They develop a willing attitude, and the end result is a friendly horse that wants to be your partner. These are horses that are bred for Open competition, and have the disposition to work with an amateur or non-pro.

Joy - Cowbred Filly Who Lives Up To Her Name
Joy is a sweet 2024 filly. Joy has a wonderful calm and friendly disposition; she wants to please and nothing bothers her. Joy is a flashy sorrel tobiano, and is 7 panel NN. With her demeanor and her pedigree, this girl is going to do great things in the show pen and then be a wonderful broodmare. She is bred for reined cow horse, but with her chunky build she could rope, and with her willing manner she would shine in ranch horse competition.

Milo - The Handsome Miracle Colt
We are so grateful to have this beautiful colt, Milo. Milo's dam is Uvaldes Cow Smart, whose barn name is Nikki. Nikki is a difficult mare to get pregnant and had only four previous foals, one every three years. Milo's brother, Apollo was born in 2023, and surprisingly, Nikki became pregnant that same year, which had never happened before. Then in the fall of 2023, while pregnant with Milo, Nikki got very sick, and was hospitalized with a serious illness. We thought we were going to lose her, and then after she recovered, we feared that we were going to lose the baby. Nikki received several different medications to support the pregnancy, and Milo was born in the spring, healthy and active!
Milo is a stunning colt, a black and white tobiano. He carries the cream gene, so his color is smokey black. Milo is bred for reined cow horse; his maternal brother Peptos Smart Cookie excelled in NRCHA and APHA cow horse competition. Milo has been handled appropropriately from day one, and is halter and lead trained, ties, has had his feet trimmed, gets brushed, and wears a blanket and fly mask. He is smart, very athletic, and cowey; he loves to circle up and chase Peppy the donkey. Milo is full of character, with a playful streak.
